What an unforgettable night! Stellar’s 50th Anniversary celebration in Long Beach at this year’s APEX was a special moment for all of us, and we are so grateful to have shared it with so many incredible people who have been part of our journey.
It’s amazing to think back to when our founders, Rob and Helen Lynch, answered a newspaper ad to provide inflight entertainment for Qantas. Fifty years later, that single leap of faith has evolved into a company built on innovation, collaboration, and the partnerships that continue to define our success.
Our CEO, Sam Allen, shared a powerful perspective on just how far we’ve come:
“Vinyl was still the number one way people listened to music… major airlines like Emirates and Virgin Atlantic didn’t even exist. It’s incredible to think how far we’ve come from those early days.”
While so much has changed over the past five decades, some things have remained constant: our commitment to innovation, our passion for delivering exceptional inflight entertainment, and the invaluable relationships we’ve built along the way.
Sam put it best in his speech:
“One of the key reasons for our longevity is our people. It’s our employees, our partners, and everyone here tonight. Stellar wouldn’t be where it is today without you.”
Those words captured the spirit of the night, underscoring how much our journey has been shaped by the people we’ve worked with — from longtime partners to our talented team. The evening felt like a reunion, filled with laughter, shared stories, and a deep sense of camaraderie, leaving us excited for what’s to come.
