Our History

Established in 1974, Stellar is the brainchild of Rob and Helen Lynch. Answering an advertisement in a newspaper in Sydney, Australia from Qantas Airways, Helen and Rob, the can-do couple won the contract to provide Qantas with tailored inflight audio programming and production, a job we still do today, more than 35 years later. The pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit of Stellar has continued throughout the years, ensuring the company continues to grow.

Today, Stellar is one of the most respected IFE content service providers, offering video and audio programming, video and audio production and post production, graphic design for print and digital platforms, and a range of specialist IFE technical services tailored to meet any airline’s needs. As the world’s longest continually running inflight entertainment supplier, Stellar boasts a client list that includes long term partnerships with recognised and respected airline brands. With state-of-the-art facilities and IFE experts located in Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Los Angeles, Singapore and Dubai, Stellar has a solution for all airlines.

The recent opening in Beijing of our joint venture subsidiary Sky Victory Technology - which was created exclusively to service the Chinese airline market - cements Stellar’s position as a global IFE force.
