Stellar Inflight appointed as Malaysia Airlines IFE content provider

Seattle | 13 September 2011 – Stellar Inflight, a leading consultant and provider of inflight entertainment content and technical services is pleased to announce a multi-year agreement to supply film, television and audio programming to Malaysia Airlines, the national carrier of Malaysia.

We employ more than 20 Malaysians full-time in KL – and have just expanded our facility on to a third floor to accommodate our growth – the timing is perfect.”

Stellar Inflight and Malaysia Airlines are working closely together to revitalise the IFE experience on-board to coincide with the introduction of Malaysia Airlines new fleet of aircraft, including the flagship A380, arriving in 2012. As a result, from October 2011, Malaysia Airlines is substantially increasing their entertainment content offering from 30 to 60 Hollywood movies, 24 to 36 international movies, 94 to 170 television programs and 200 to 400 audio-on-demand albums, per cycle.
